On June 2, ARF Bureau representative Hagop Der Khachadourian, Bureau member Raffi Donabedian and ARF Canada Central Committee representative Mher Karakashian, Central Committee members Saro Der Bedrosian, Maral Nazarian and Hovik Tufenkjian met with His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia in Montreal during the pontifical visit . The Preleate of the Armenian Prelacy of Canada, Archbishop Papken Sarian, was also present at the meeting, along with a member of the National Central Board of the Catholicosate of Cilicia, Dr. Jirair Pasmajian.
During the meeting, the political situation and the current crisis of the republics of Artsakh and Armenia were discussed, as well as the challenges faced by the Armenian community of Canada and the Armenian communities of the Middle East.
