YEREVAN—Homenetmen’s 11th Inter-Divisional Conference concluded on Sunday, November 17, with a solemn visit to the Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial. Delegates, including members of the Homenetmen Central Board, Homenetmen-HASK, and Homenetmen Artsakh, laid a wreath and flowers at the eternal flame in memory of the 1.5 million genocide victims, offering prayers in tribute.
Earlier that day, the delegation attended a liturgical service and requiem at Holy Etchmiadzin in honor of deceased and martyred Homenetmen members. Archimandrite Nathan Hovhannisyan highlighted the organization’s 106-year legacy of service and dedication to the Armenian nation, as attendees prayed for the peace of departed souls.
The weekend also featured a celebratory dinner on Saturday marking the 35th anniversary of Homenetmen-HASK. The event, attended by 250 guests, included speeches, awards for distinguished members, and an artistic program. Top honors included the “Order of Merit” awarded to Oshin Pirumian and the “Vardan Bakhshian Medal” to Bagrat Yesayan.
The conference’s activities underscored Homenetmen’s ongoing mission to advance Armenian unity, heritage, and service.
