Homenetmen Glendale Ararat to Host Exclusive Theatre Performances Featuring Narine Grigoryan

Glendale, CA — Homenetmen Glendale Ararat’s Cultural Division will present three nights of exclusive theatre performances featuring renowned Armenian artist and director Narine Grigoryan. The performances are scheduled for April 11, 12, and 13 at the El Portal Theater in Los Angeles.

Grigoryan, who currently serves as director of the “Sos Sargsyan” National Theatre in Yerevan, will perform in Los Angeles for the first time. Widely recognized for her work in Armenian theatre, Grigoryan will bring two critically acclaimed performances to the stage.

On April 11 and 13, she will perform My Family in My Suitcase, a theatrical production based on her personal experiences of migration, identity, and resilience. The piece combines storytelling and artistic expression to depict a journey shaped by displacement and self-discovery.

On April 12, Grigoryan will present The Buffalo, a monologue written by celebrated Armenian author Hrant Matevosyan. The performance coincides with the 90th anniversary of Matevosyan’s birth, offering added significance to the event.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for organizations and individuals seeking to support the event and gain visibility within the community. For additional information, contact Homenetmen Glendale Ararat’s Cultural Division.
