On Thursday, February 8, 2024, a meeting convened at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, between His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, and Armenian Revolutionary Federation Bureau Representative Hagop Der-Khachadourian.
The discussion delved into several pressing issues, including the current state of affairs in Armenia, the ongoing Artsakh predicament, and the imperative of safeguarding the rights of Artsakh Armenians, with a specific focus on facilitating their collective return to Artsakh.
The two also shared updates on local and global endeavors aimed at finding a fair resolution to the Artsakh issue, and deliberated on forthcoming pan-Armenian initiatives.
Notably, the meeting underscored the critical importance of extending humanitarian aid to Artsakh Armenians, alongside continued efforts to fortify Armenia’s institutional framework, foster national cohesion, surmount existing challenges, foster greater collaboration among national entities, and enhance the church’s involvement in the Armenian community’s affairs.
