The anti-national policies of the authorities of the day, the retreat from spiritual and cultural values, the division of the nation, the sowing of sectarian thinking and the abandonment of national strategic goals caused the catastrophe that Armenia and Artsakh are currently facing.
We stand on the threshold of Artsakh’s independence and the loss of Armenia’s sovereignty.
As an all-Armenian educational and cultural organization, we express our deep concern about the continuing destruction of the Armenian identity of hundreds of spiritual and cultural monuments in Artsakh.
The General Assembly condemns the genocidal policy of the Azerbaijani authorities towards the Armenian spiritual and cultural values, as well as the aggressive policy towards Armenia and Artsakh.
This position of the current Armenian government is intolerable for the representatives of many Diaspora communities who have struggled for generations to preserve their national identity in foreign countries. Only the unification of national forces can bypass the current catastrophic situation.
