Artsakh Flag Raising Ceremony Held at KZV Armenian School San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – On a chilly and windy morning Tuesday, the students of Krouzian Zekarian Vasbouragan came out in solidarity with their brothers and sisters in Artsakh by raising the Artsakh flag.
The students were assisted by principal Grace Andonian, and the Director of Armenian Studies Ms. Garine Panossian. In a symbolic gesture, the flag was gifted to the school by the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Western USA Central Committee, represented by member Khatchig Tazian.
As the flag was being raised to its rightful place hovering above the school grounds, the moment was punctuated by the students singing the National Anthem of the Republic of Artsakh. A small, yet poignant gesture that is being repeated in all corners of the world driving home the message “Artsakh is Armenia” and that the next generation will continue the struggle for the free, independent, and united Armenia.
