The ARS of Western USA was selected as a 2023 California Nonprofit of the Year by Assemblymember Laura Friedman of the 44th Assembly District. The region was one of more than one hundred nonprofits that were honored by their state senators and assemblymembers for their outstanding contributions to the communities they serve.
On this occasion, ARS Regional Executive BoardMembers Hagio Barsamian, Emma Garabetian, Seda Khojayan, and Maral Manokian attended the California Nonprofits Day Luncheon in Sacramento on June 7, 2023.
The ARS Regional Executive Board shares this honor with each of its chapters and members, who serve a vital role in carrying forward our organization’s mission. This achievement was made possible as a result of collective efforts, as well as the dedication and commitment to our humanitarian work.
