Armenia does not intend to send Ambassador Razmik Khumaryan back to Belarus, according to sources cited by Sputnik Armenia.
Khumaryan was recalled to Armenia for consultations in June 2024 and has remained in Yerevan since.
This development comes in the wake of a heated exchange between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko during the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council summit in St. Petersburg on Thursday.
