On Wednesday evening, August 21, 2024, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Western U.S.A. (ARF-WUSA) Central Committee hosted a lively meet and greet event at the ACF Krikor and Mariam Karamanoukian Glendale Youth Center. Organized by the ARF Glendale “Aharonian” Gomideh, the gathering brought together official board members from various Armenian sister organizations of the ARF-WUSA. The evening was marked by an atmosphere of camaraderie, with guests enjoying a delightful mix of entertainment, great food, and drinks, all while strengthening bonds within the Armenian community.
Vache Thomassian, Esq., Chairperson of the ARF Aharonian Gomideh, welcomed the attendees with warm introductory remarks. He set a positive tone for the evening, emphasizing the importance of unity and the collective strength of the Armenian organizations present. Thomassian’s words resonated with the crowd, encouraging everyone to engage in meaningful conversations and enjoy the spirit of togetherness that defined the event.
Garo Madenlian, Esq., Chairperson of the ARF-WUSA, also addressed the gathering, underscoring the significance of the work that the organizations must continue, not only in the Western U.S.A. but also for the homeland, Armenia, and Armenians worldwide. Madenlian highlighted the importance of solidarity and urged the community to remain focused on their shared mission of advancing the collective national agenda of the Armenian people and state. His remarks were met with enthusiastic applause, further energizing the evening.
In addition to the speeches, the event featured entertainment that kept the atmosphere lively, with guests enjoying a selection of delicious food and drinks. Official board members from the Armenian Cultural Foundation, Armenian Relief Society Western U.S.A., Armenian Youth Federation Western United States, Armenian National Committee of America Western Region, Homenetmen Western U.S.A., Hamazkayin Western U.S. Region, and the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church mingled with representatives from over a dozen local ARF-WUSA chapters (Gomidehs). The evening was a perfect blend of socializing and networking, reinforcing the strong connections within the community and the shared commitment to advancing the Armenian cause on multiple fronts.
