Los Angeles, California – The ANCA Western Region is proud to announce that legendary anchor and reporter Araksya Karapetyan will be attending the 2024 ANCA Western Region Gala to present the Steve Artinian Visionary Activist Awards to qualified awardees who have gone above and beyond in service to the Armenian-American community in the space of journalism. Karapetyan is no stranger to the ANCA-WR Gala awards, having been bestowed with the “Excellence in Media” Award at the 2019 ANCA-WR Gala. Karapetyan has also taken a passionate role in highlighting others who have served the Armenian-American community, having served as master of ceremonies at the 2023 ANCA-WR Education Committee Genocide Education Awards ceremony.
