ANCA Western Region Announces Endorsed Candidates Ahead of Upcoming November 5 Elections

(Los Angeles, California) – The ANCA Western Region is proud to announce its list of endorsed candidates ahead of the upcoming November 5 elections, where community members will have the opportunity to shape the future of Armenian-American advocacy by electing candidates to office who have a proven track record of supporting pro-Armenian policy measures. The ANCA Western Region endorsement process was carried out with meticulous detail, calculating incumbent officials’ and newcomer candidates’ tangible actions, track-records, and backgrounds as they relate to advancing Armenian-American policy priorities. This exhaustive list aims to inform voters about candidates’ abilities to address some of the most pressing issues the Armenian-American community faces, such as advocacy for the right of return of Artsakh’s Armenians who were forcibly displaced by Azerbaijan’s genocidal aspirations in the Armenian Homeland, holding Azerbaijan accountable for past and present aggression against the Armenian People, securing the unconditional release of Azerbaijan’s Armenian prisoners of war and political hostages, defending the Armenian Homeland from further aggression at the hands of the Aliyev regime, and supporting the safety, security, and prosperity of Armenians in the United States and Armenia.

Community members are encouraged to visit the ANCA Western Region 2024 Elections Center for more information about the candidates, and to visit HyeVotes.org for information about critical dates and deadlines, including confirming and/or updating their voter registration, locating the nearest polling center to cast their ballots, as well as confirming deadlines for submitting their mail-in ballots. Voting is a fundamental right of all citizens in the United States to elect public officials who advance their critical needs and interests. All are encouraged to participate in this year’s General Elections on November 5th 2024, where offices ranging from local city and county officials, to Congressional Representatives and the President of the United States will be elected.
