In March of 1994, the Armenian Engineers and Scientists of America (AESA) Research and Education Committee established an esteemed award to honor outstanding Armenian engineers and scientists worldwide for their exceptional technical achievements. Named after the distinguished scientist Victor Hambartsumyan, who was the inaugural recipient in a ceremony held in Armenia, this award has become a symbol of recognition for excellence in the Armenian scientific community.
Since its inception, it has been a tradition to confer this prestigious award to a deserving Armenian scientist or engineer who has demonstrated significant accomplishments and garnered recognition, serving as a role model for peers worldwide.
To continue this tradition of celebrating excellence, we invite you to submit your nominations for the AESA Victor Hambartsumyan Award. Please send your recommendations for outstanding scientists or engineers who exemplify the highest standards of technical expertise and contribution to the field.
The Award Process:
1. The Awards Committee will receive nominations from AESA members worldwide.
2. The committee will thoroughly review the achievements of the suggested scientist/engineer and recommend a finalist.
3. The award will be presented during a gala or an award ceremony.
