During his recent visit to Washington, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan added yet another link to his chain of nation-destroying actions by making irresponsible statements that cast doubt on the historical fact of the Armenian Genocide. This undeniable fact, recognized by numerous countries and esteemed academic institutions worldwide and awaiting rightful justice, is now being questioned by the so-called prime minister who has usurped power in our own homeland.
Meanwhile, under the silent complicity of Armenia’s current authorities, the trial of Artsakh’s military-political leadership continues in the sham “courts” staged by Baku’s genocidal regime.
Moreover, Armenia’s criminal authorities have expressed willingness to withdraw legal claims against Baku’s crimes.
These steps, which serve the political agenda of an enemy state, have ignited a wave of outrage across the Diaspora and the homeland. These anti-national policies have stirred all Armenian circles that stand for the rights of the homeland and the Armenian people.
Therefore, on the eve of the ARF’s 35th General Assembly, the Extraordinary Regional Convention of the ARF Western U.S.A. strongly condemns these anti-national policies, which undermine the Armenian people’s demands for justice and further Turkey’s and Azerbaijan’s genocidal plans—policies that have placed Armenia under the gravest security threats.
Armenia’s current authorities are not only incapable of confronting these challenges, but through their false “peace” agenda and their trampling of the inalienable rights of the Armenian people, they are deepening the crisis and creating even greater dangers for the Armenian nation.
Accordingly, the Regional Convention is convinced that:
- The formation of a national government in Armenia is an urgent necessity.
- The recognition of and reparation for the Armenian Genocide, as well as the pursuit of the Armenian Cause (Hai Tad), must remain a pan-Armenian priority.
- Strengthening and modernizing our organizational structure in the region are crucial tools for defending Armenian rights on the international stage.
- In addition to preserving Armenian identity, we remain committed to supporting the homeland and directing our capabilities toward Armenia.
Thus, we reaffirm our unwavering determination to fight, with resolute will, for the unconditional rights of Armenia, Artsakh, and the entire Armenian nation, as well as for the international recognition and reparation of the Armenian Genocide.
