STEPANAKERT, ARTSAKH REPUBLIC – The Armenian Revolutionary Federation Youth Organization of Arstakh will stage a torchlight procession on April 23 in Stepanakert, the capital of the Artsakh Republic, to demand recognition and justice for the Armenian Genocide. The initiative will mirror the annual torchlight processions organized by the ARF’s Youth Organization in Armenia, which is slated once again to take place this year in Yerevan.
“Nothing has changed in the program of our enemies since 1915. The same genocidal policy is applied to Artsakh today,” the organizers of the initiative said in a statement.
“Therefore, refusing that policy and making our will to survive audible to everyone, and raising national resistance becomes the duty of every Artsakh citizen,” said the statement from the ARF Youth Organization of Artsakh.
