Hamazkayin to Commemorate 100th Anniversary of Renowned Armenian Poet Paruyr Sevak

Pasadena, CA—The 100th anniversary of celebrated Armenian poet Paruyr Sevak will be marked with a special literary event hosted by the Hamazkayin Western Region Literary Unit and the Hamazkayin Pasadena “Shahan Shahnour” Chapter Literary/Arts Committee. The event, taking place on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 7:00 PM at the Pasadena Jivalagian Youth Center, will celebrate the life and work of one of Armenia’s most significant literary figures.

Sevak, widely regarded as one of the most influential Armenian poets of the 20th century, is remembered for his profound poetry and commentary on Armenian identity, history, and culture.
