Artur Davtyan Wins Silver Medal for Armenia in Paris Olympics

Artur Davtyan has won Armenia’s first medal in the Paris Olympics. Competing in the Gymnastics Vault event, Davtyan scored a combined total of 14.966 to win the Silver medal. Carlos Yulo of the Philippines won the Gold with a score of 15.116, and Great Britain’s Harry Hepworth won the Bronze with a score of 14.949.

Davtyan’s Silver medal in Paris adds to his achievements, as he previously won a Bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics. This accomplishment underscores his status as a top gymnast and serves as an inspiration for young athletes in Armenia, highlighting the potential for success on the global stage.
