“Pashinyan has another secret agreement with Aliyev,” says Manukyan

YEREVAN, ARMENIA – Amenian Revolutionary Federation member Gegham Manukyan, a member of the “Hayastan” parliamentary faction, in an interview with “Azatutyun” radio station discussed the issue of Russian peacekeepers banning a group of Armenian parliamentarians from entering Artsakh today, noting that the deputies were not provided reasons for the refusal.

“The Russian peacekeepers simply banned us from entering because they were given a special list. Before reaching the Russian peacekeepers, we noticed another extraordinary case that in the village of Tegh, at the Armenian checkpoint, the [Armenian] border guards collected all the personal data of the deputies – passport data, date of birth, number, year, presumably recording which deputies were leaving. Shortly after that, at the border with Artsakh, Russian peacekeepers had the same list of names and surnames, even remembering the patronymics, and stated that our entry was forbidden,” the opposition MP said.

“We have reaffirmed our determination in the struggle against the isolation of Artsakh and the removal of Armenians from Artsakh, but the combination of all these facts proves one thing: that this was not done by chance. Today’s Armenian authorities and Nikol Pashinyan have another shadow agreement with Aliyev to impose restrictions on movement, because if today the entry of deputies is prohibited, tomorrow it is not ruled out that another politician, individual or thousands of our compatriots will be barred from entering the Artsakh Republic,” added Manukyan.
