Born in 1956 in Aleppo, Syria, to Armenian parents, Zareh moved with his family to Beirut, Lebanon, in 1963. During the Lebanese civil war, he moved to the US in 1983 to join his twin brother.
Zareh creates drawings and paintings and also has done live public performances on Los Angeles streets.
Many of Zareh’s critically acclaimed performance exhibitions, such as “Turkish Soup Made with Armenian Bones,“ “The Red Trees of the Armenian Genocide” and “Marry the Priest” have been featured in the U.S. media, including the Los Angeles Times, la opinion, KTLA, and others.
