Artsakh resident Vagif Khachatryan, abducted by the Azerbaijani military in the Lachin corridor, stated that he is not guilty of the charges brought against him in a Baku court, per Azerbaijani media reports.
Khachatryan emphasized that he did not commit crimes during the first Artsakh war.
Let us remind you that the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan accuses Vagif Khachatryan of creating a criminal group. It is alleged that 59 people have been recognized as victims in the case.
On July 29, Azerbaijani security forces did not allow 68-year-old Vagif Khachatryan through the Lachin corridor, who was being transported in an ICRC car, accompanied by his daughter, to one of the medical institutions in Armenia.
