Today, the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh, Davit Ishkhanyan, received the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh, Karen Sargsyan.
At the meeting, the role and importance of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in ensuring the normal work of state institutions in the country and maintaining internal security and solidarity was highlighted.
Karen Sargsyan expressed willingness to cooperate with the National Assembly and relevant committees. The Minister of Internal Affairs assured that the Internal Affairs system, especially the Police, will make every effort to ensure public safety and curb illegalities and outrages.
A number of issues related to the civil defense of the Republic of Artsakh became the subject of special discussion.
Marcel Petrosyan, the chairman of the Standing Committee on Defense, Security and Law Enforcement of the National Assembly, was present at the meeting.
