Sets priority of returning to its mission of service through transparency and modernization
ACF announced the election of a new Board of Directors following a Special Meeting held on August 13, 2023, at the Burbank Youth Center. The meeting was called for by a majority of the organization’s member-chapters and delegates and noticed pursuant to California Corporations Code with the goal of bringing the organization back into order. Over 60 certified delegates from 12 chapters were in attendance and discussed ACF’s mission, community activities, and future projects. The meeting passed an unprecedented resolution directing the new Board to conduct a forensic audit of its past financial transactions to conduct its operations with more transparency to its donors, supporters, and the public.
